What the Patients Say:

"I'm a skeptic, and still am. I'm also an endurance cyclist, after a nasty accident during a training session, I had
to have arthroscopic surgery on my right shoulder. After surgery,  I still had lingering pain in my shoulder and
the shoulder wasn't the same, the shoulder would fatigue so quickly during my rides and at times I'd have some
tingling pain up and down my arm. After several rounds of painkillers and shots from the doctors I turned to
acupuncture. I was recommended to Lester from one of my training partners who had come to see him after she
was thrown off her bike. She had fractured her pelvis in 3 different places. She told me he had helped her with
the enormous amount of pain that she had had after the accident, and she was able to get back on the bike earlier
than expected. So I decided to give it a try, and what do you know, after several visits, I can honestly say, the
pain is completely gone. And just think, I could have done this months earlier and avoided all the pills and
shots. Since then I've come to see Lester for everything from my allergies to back pain, as well as just
maintenance for my shoulder to prevent anything down the line. I still can't explain how acupuncture works,
but I know that it worked for me, when nothing else did. I am truly grateful for what Lester has done for me."

"I've had migraines for pretty much the majority of my life, bad enough that I've had to take Imitrex shots every
few weeks. The doctors that I've seen have never given me a good explanation for my migraines or any good
relief. My mom took me to see Lester after he had treated her sciatic pain. Along with the acupuncture, we
started taking a look at other things I could do to help the cause. Slowly but surely, I started having days
without migraines, then it was weeks without one. Now, I could go months at a time without headaches. It's
always nice to be able to wakeup without a headache, and being a college student, it's always nice to know that
there's a good chance that I won't have a headache during my busy schedule, like finals week. I just wish we
would have found out about Lester earlier."

                                                                                    Initial Complaint: Migraines

"I remember coming into Lester's office limping at my first visit. I had been suffering from sciatica for 6 months
and had probably gotten used to the limping. For 6 months I had literally been living off painkillers and had
gotten a couple of pain shots. I was having pain doing the simplest things, like putting on my pants and driving.
Lester explained to me how the sciatica had probably come about and showed me what I could change to help it
from coming back. He also told me that since it had been awhile it might take several visits for it to go
completely away. Well, I could honestly say that I was 80% better after just one visit. And a few visits later,
the pain was completely gone. I'm a teacher, so I'm on my feet all day, so I still go to Lester periodically for
preventative measures, and along the way he's been able to help me with my neck and shoulder pain as well as a
list of other things. I've since recommended several of my collegues as well as my student to Lester, and
nobody's been disappointed yet!"
